1.  Advertisement copy shall be legal, decent, honest and truthful; shall comply with the British Code of Advertising Practice and all other Codes under the general supervision of the Advertising Standards Authority: and shall comply with the requirements of current legislation.

2.  Horse Connect publishes advertisements provided by advertisers. Horse Connect gives no warranty as to the truth, accuracy or sufficiency of any advertisement or any description, photograph or statement therein.

3.  Horse Connect reserves the right to make any alteration it considers necessary or desirable in an advertisement, and to require artwork or copy to be amended to meet its approval.

4.  Professional photographs / videos require written permission from the photographer before they can be published on any website or in any publication. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to ensure permission is granted to use photos / video, as Horse Connect will credit photographs wherever possible, but cannot be responsible for paying copyright fees.

5.  Horse Connect reserves the right to refuse any advertisement. Advertisers are advised to check their advertisement for errors as Horse Connect assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions.

6.  Horse Connect reserves the right to alter advertisement rates and special offers, at any time without notice.

7.  Horse Connect does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by (a) an error, inaccuracy or omission in the publication of any advertisement: (b) for any failure to publish an advertisement within the timescale specified by the Advertiser: (c) for the publication of an advertisement on the date or dates specified by the Advertiser whether the actual date be earlier of later than the date or dates specified: and/or in respect of any loss or damage alleged to have been the result of any delay or changes, caused.

8.  Horse Connect accepts no liability for any loss suffered by any person as a consequence of reliance on any advertisement or other material in this publication.

9.  Cancellations and errors must be notified immediately to Horse Connect in writing. Refunds / substitutions cannot be given on cancellations of advertisements which have already been published on our internet web site.

10.  The Business Advertisement (Disclosure) Order 1977 requires all advertisements by people who seek to sell goods, in the course of business, to make that fact clear. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to comply with the above Order by using the word TRADE or Capital ‘T’.

11.  The placing of an order for the publication of an advertisement shall amount to an acceptance of the above conditions and any conditions stipulated on an Agency’s order form or elsewhere by an Agency or an Advertiser shall be void insofar as they are in conflict with them.

12.   Telephone call to and from Horse Connect may be monitored and recorded for training, security and dispute resolution purposes.

  

Privacy Policy

 

For the purposes of the Data protection Act 1998, you acknowledge that in the course of submitting an advert, using the site and the site services, certain personal information or date about you will be captured electronically or otherwise transmitted. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you expressly agree to transfer such personal information or Data to Horse Connect to use, store and process the personal information for the purposes of providing the services offered on the site. You may revoke your consent by request written notice, but then you must exit the site and have no further rights to access the site or the sites services.
